Lodge Rents

Lodge rent is Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) based on 30% of each resident’s total income (Line 150 of Tax Notice of Assessment) plus a mandatory ‘service package’ fee as established by the Board of Directors. Homeland Housing reviews rent annually and sets rent structure which specifies the basic and maximum monthly rents in the lodges.

Rent Includes

  • Accommodation (furnished room)
  • Three homemade meals served daily in a central dining room, and snacks available 24 hours.
  • Weekly light housekeeping, linen and towel service
  • Use of resident laundry room for personal laundry
  • Utilities (excluding cable and telephone)
  • Caring and friendly employees on duty 24 hours
  • Programs and activities held on-site

Not included (additional nominal fees charged)

  • Parking, Cable TV, Bath Assist, Telephone (residents’ responsibility)
